- Designed as the matching receptacle for Southco R2/R5 panel fastening systems, this shallow tab component engages the compatible latch to support secure pull-up and concealed joining of butt-joint panels
- Well-suited for equipment enclosures, removable service panels, transport cases, access structures, and other panel assemblies that need quick connection, clean exterior surfaces, and repeatable alignment.
- Shallow tab geometry supports the required installation style for compatible panel layouts. Rear mortise-style mounting and tool-operated latch engagement help keep hardware hidden from the outer panel face.
- Made from steel with a bright zinc-plated finish. Overall size is 3-3/8-inch [86mm] wide, 1-5/8-inch [41mm] high, and 1-1/4-inch [32mm] deep. Technical drawing notes also confirm the steel construction and zinc-plated finish.
- Sold separately from the latch as the receptacle for 555-R2025902.
